Get involved:
Beloved community isn't built by a few, it takes a village! We need volunteers in all areas of our work. You will be able to learn about BCC's approach to community building and working for social and economic justice from long time social activist and work with new community organizers. We've found it best that any volunteer work you might do is tailored to the gifts, skills, competencies and interests that you bring, so come and share your gifts and time and let's begin to build beloved community together.
Some of the opportunities are:
- Education: Tutor and mentor children, organize parents and community members to be involved in schools.

- Greensboro Truth and Community Reconciliation Project: Organize and mobilize students, church members, civic groups and community members to support this project to understand our history and change our present.

- Economic Justice: Organize and mobilize community members to create community accountability for decent jobs and livable wages for all our citizens.

- Homeless Hospitality: Volunteer at the Hospitality House to serve food for and build community with our homeless neighbors.

- General Support: There are many tasks needed to sustain the work of the BCC: phone calls, mailings, special events, clerical work, etc.
